yes, 16x8 is the stock size wheel. make sure you get the right offset also. the factory is 0 front 16mm rear. 0 all the way around works also

BTW, why not 245s all the way around? or 255s?

because i just bought the car, and the tires only have like 800 miles on them....so i'm not gonna change them at all, i dunno if i'm gonna change my rims any time soon either, I just wanted the info for future knowledge, becuase i'm sure i'll end up with a set of rims in about 5 months....maybe a birthday present or something caues i'm a poor 17 year old right now

dang, better get a part time job. did that when i was a teenager and have no idea where the money went to. if you have the stock wheels right now i would get 245s for the front before getting wheels. smaller tire in the front will cause loss of handling. im sure you wont notice a difference because its only by 20, but still its better to have all matching sizes. unless you lift the rear and stuff a 295 in the back for nasty stright out traction

i got a decent job...i work as a harbormaster at the local marina, i make 6.50 an hour, and i usually make more tips than i make on my checks....so it equals out to be around 10.00+ dollars an hour, but the bad thing is, the job only last for abotu 5 months because thats the boating season....i was actually thinking about getting 245's for the front, so then when i burn off the rear tires i can just rotate them...i'll see how things go, and see what my dad wants to do, becuase he's all excited about the car because he had a camaro when he was younger too, so for him its like being a kid all over again, and he is willing to drop some money on it, so the choice is kinda up to him...and lifting the back end of a camaro of firebird looks really ugly, i suggest nobody does that

my camaro is lifted, looks insane actually. maybe ill post a picture sometime. for rotating, you cannot rotate the wheels. youll have to dismount the tires and rotate them like that. if you use rears on the front, the wheel will rub and youll be in a world of pain

yea that is what i meant....because the offsets are different...yea i would like to see a pic of your lifted camaro.....i like the lifted look on like older monte carlo's...but the camaro's and firebirds i've seen just look ugly to me i guess, maybe they arent' doing it right or something, who knows, maybe its just not my style...

well you prob looking at the cars that have the GFX and are lifted. i have the standard body style. it makes a world of difference. i hear what your saying with the lift though, its not everyones "thing" kinda like the notch back. its also got one of those on there. maybe its a combo of all three? i like it because its not your everyday ordinary camaro/firebird. maybe tomorrow i'll take a few snapshots. just need a site to post them on to link you to it
