What should the stock oil gauge read at idle?

I have a 92 305 TBI, and I am curious as to what the stock oil gauge should read when the car is idling. I know as I hit the gas, the pressure rises, but didn't know what it should read if I'm just sitting there

So for education purposes, so the 15-30 range is ok at idle, and at WOT, it increases significantly?

My old 91 305 TPI had about 10psi at idle and 35 above idle

My 92 350 TPI has 45psi at idle and 60 above idle, but I think might be something wrong with the sender (I hope).

I don't know...my 92 is about 30-45 idle, and above 60 at WOT...that prompted me to ask the question.

my 83 z28 is like that too
the gauges are known to be wrong but as long as they are proportionally wrong then youll be alright haha

like for example just take the readings you get and understand that they prob are displaying higher then they are. but just use that higher number to determine if your lower then "normal"

10 psi hot idle, and 10 psi increase for every 1000rpm increase is good

Mine reads 45 on a cold idle and if you go WOT, it will be around 60. If you warm it up, it reads 30 and warm WOT is around 45. This is with 5W30 in the summer and 0W30 in the winter. Mobil1
