What to set timing at?

What to set timing at?

Just finished installing a new cam in my 83 Z with an LG4. Its a comp cam xe262. I also installed the comp 981 springs. Im am just wondering what I should set my timing at.

I'd set it at 8-10 degrees.

10* seems to be a great comprimise, works for me and the majority of the others it seems.
