What PROM to use?

Hey, I have a 1989 Chevrolet Camaro 350 TBI, it originally came with a 305 TBI but the previous owner put a 350 in it and left everything with 305 sensors/injectors/computer etc. I've replaced most of the sensors and the injectors with 350 sensors etc and the car has started running rough (but still alot better acelleration than the original sensors etc). Any how, got extremely bad and I couldn't figure out what was wrong, so I took it to a shop and had it checked out and aparently the PROM has gone bad.. Since I have a 350 TBI instead of a 305 TBI, I can't seem to find anything to match up with this. Does anyone know of a PROM I can use as a replacement for this one that is for a 350 TBI? I know I can get one custom made but thats more expensive than just converting the whole thing over to carb or TPI.

TIA!

Wink

i wouldnt even bother with the TBI setup. switch over to the tpi setup, find one on ebay or something and they can go cheap. i have seen them go on ebay for about 150 bucks COMPLETE. either that or find the ecm, get an lt1 intake seup and then get a painless wiring setup. might be more expensive but it will suite later mods very well. like i said, step away from the TBI because it chokes even a 305, i cant imagine what its doing to the 350! hope this helps.

k, if I can't find a cheaper substitute for the time being I may just park the car and save up the money to do the TPI setup..

Thanks for the suggestion.

Get a chip for an 89 Caprice Cop Car with a 350 TBI. Its broadcast code is ANLU.
