What offset do I need on 18" rims???

I've been looking at rims, and it looks like the majority of them are around +40 offset...I've heard from people that on camaro's the offset is 0 up front and +16 in the back...how true is this? I'm trying to find a nice set of 18" rims, but I can't find anything close to that offset unless i get spacers and buy corvette rims or something...what is the offset for my 86 camaro, and if anybody has a good set of rims that looks good on camaro's please post what they are and some pics if possible..thanks guys...
