i need a read end... my differentials are gone!

i had it towed to a garage where it's been sitting for about a week now. they're waiting for me to give them the ok to work on it. they said they could go out and find me a used rear end, but i don't know if i wanna go that route. i could save myself some money by going out with a buddy of mine and pulling a rear end off a 3rd gen myself.

but here's the thing.. my '83 Z28 actually has rear wheel disc brakes, and i would rather keep the disc in the back but it's gonna be hard because i have come across some rear ends but ALL had drums.

it would be so nice to find an IROC to pull the rear end out, not only will i keep my 4 wheel disc but i will also have a posi rear! that would be awesome to hook up with my 305/T-5.

here's another problem... i plan on selling this car towards the end of summer, so there isn't much time left... i got what, 2 months. so i wanna find something quick and get that baby back on the road before i let it go!

where's the best place to get a rear end?

 

Hawk's 3rd Gen is where I got mine. Bruce is a real good guy to do business with and he's pretty good at finding parts too. He got me a 3.70 posi/disc 9-bolt for $300 plus shipping.
