im thinking bout building a engine up for my car i decided with a 350, i was thinking bout roller cam (470 lift), vortec heads, vortec tpi base, accel top plenum(pizza box style) and runners, and roller tip rockers(1.5) should i bother with the vortec stuff or is there another way to do it a lil cheaper cuz the vortec base alone is 400 also what would need to be done to the computer can i jsut run bigger injectors (i have 305 tpi now) think this would be enough for low 13's maybe break 12's im still rockin full interior( pwr windows locks, manuel seats) thanx for any input steve

 

with a head and cam combo on a 350 you should knock down 12's.You will need to get your computer programmed to your setup for max. power.I don't think you need the pizza box on top just tne vortec base and slp runners and a bigger tb.Have everything ported to match you should be fine.
