If I was more familiar with carb setups I could give you a better idea. I would think you will be into the 12's easily.

they have two versions of that grind, on a 110 or 112 LSA.
Specs looks good on that cam,Since its carbed go w/ a 110 LSA. Be better to use 1.5 rockers,1.6's on that thing would be almost .600 lift hahaa.

Id say w/ that cam in a 3400-ish pound car your lookin at mid 12's depending on traction. The cam you have now, prob. low 13's high 12's in the 1/4...ballpark guesstimate.

Sounds like you should have a pretty powerful motor, hope it works out well for ya.

I'm lucky if I push 210hp with my setup(in sig).

Ah cool! Not that far away! Ya Holland is half an hour outside of Buffalo, but that's my parents house. I have since moved out and live in depew, which is 10 minutes outside of Buffalo

with the nice weather here i've got it almost ready to drive. all i have left is two more welds on my true dual exhaust, rebuild the carb, hook up the electrical, and top off the fluids. if i can get a carb rebuild kit, it should run tomorrow. i decided to run the little cam, if i don't like it the gaskets are like 20$ to swap it out.

this isn't my exhaust, but mine's a carbon copy of it.

sounds similar to my setup in my old 85 bird. it pulled pulled pulled through the high end. prob was only about 275 horse.. maybe generous.

But then again, there's only one way to tell how it'll perform.

well, it runs and sounds great.....but the transmission makes some weird sounds. it ticks when you put it in gear. the owner of the shop i had build it is going to come give his opinion about it, if it needs to be pulled he'll stand behind it.

Edit: the guy came over and said it was normal and would go away shortly, it actually stopped while he was there. all is good!(as long as my hood fits)
