what do you think of this combo?

L98 350 Bored .30 over

Edelbrock Aluminum Vortech Heads

SDPC Vortech TPI aluminum Intake

SLP Intake runners Port matched to plenum and intake

Full Roller valve train with the following:

TPIS ZZ-9 Roller Cam Gross lift with 1.6 rocker is .515/.554 112deg lobe separation

Crane Gold Race Narrow Body 1.6 roller rockers
Manley hardened push rods ( w/guide plates ) OEM GM Roller lifters

24# GM injectors, flow tested and matched

Cloyes true roller double roller timming Chain

SLP 1 3/4 ceramic Coated headers Dual Cat type

ProComp Billet aluminum computer controlled distributor.

Taylor 8MM wires with Center bolt style separators

Crane adjustable Fuel pressure regulator

52 MM throttle body with integrated air foil and roller bearing throttle linkage.

52 MM port matched plenum


Custom ECU Prom with integrated diagnostics for recording car\ sensor data

Transmission:

Built 700R4, all new performance hard parts including "beast" sun shell, Servos, pump, boost valve, bands, bearings and clutch pack. Have reciepts

B&M Holeshot 2400 RPM Lock-up style torque converter


Should be pretty fast, no?

2 things will hold it back.....

B&M converters are no good.......get a good one
The TPI can't breath up top.....Look into the LT1 intake swap or look for something else....maybe a single plane injection kit or something.

With that done it will be a nice combo

Couple of things I would do differently. I would look into a different cam. The ZZ9 cam is of an older design and while OK there are now better cams on the market. I would look into the Comp Cams XFI268 cam. It is of a modern design with much better characteristics.

I would just go ahead and get the 58mm throttle body. It cost about the same as the 52mm. Just have to increase the throat diameters of the plenum.

Next thing is I would shoot for is a 10.5:1 compression ratio if not a little higher. You will want your dynamic compression ratio to be around 8.5:1.

You have a chance to make some really good horsepower so I would take a hard look at 30# injectors. Look into the Ford SVO style.
