i would just fix it the best ya can, then decide if you want to sell it before it has more problem or hold on to it

Cool Re: what do i do with my car

Well, personally, I don't know that Megan's given us quite enough info for us to make a good recommendation. The kinds of things I'd like to know before offering an answer are:
  • How many miles does it have on it?;
  • What kind of overall condition is it in?;
  • What kinds of problems is it giving you?;
  • Do you have any inclination to learn the basics about your car? (You can save a LOT of money this way, & a lot of stuff isn't as tough as many people think it is...)
  • How much do you love the car (i.e., what's it "worth" to you)?

If you can give us answers to questions like these, we can probably give you a more worthwhile answer than just "sell it"...

BTW, welcome aboard!

Re: what do i do with my car

My suggestion is move on. I would have never thought that I'd give up my Trans Am that I had for 10 years but I just bought a 94 z28 for $4000 and turned around and sold my Trans Am for $1500 and I don't have any problems like I did with that Trans Am. The guy I sold the car to has already spent over $4000 just getting that Trans Am road ready. It's turned out to be a lot cheaper for me this way.

My 2 cents.

P.S. I am still loyal to the 3rd gens. I plan to buy another Trans Am but probably one that's already restored.
