Time to upgrade

I am about to buy some AFR 190's. The question is 68cc or 74cc? My current compression Raito is 10:1, Id like to keep it there maybe 10.5:1. If possible

I have flat top pistons. BTW (91 L98 vette block bored .030)

I plan on also getting Accell SuperRam manifold, 58mm throttle body, and the LT4 hotcam.

Any alternate suggestions are welcomed!

And NO I do not want the Stealth Ram (I want to keep my strut tower brace)

I estimating around 425 HP?

What do you guys think?

 

i think you should get ambitious, get afr 195's, a slightly more agressive cam and be hoping for over 500 ponies. As far as cc choice sorry im not much help

 

I am using the Accel 74219 cam with 219 duration I/O, .525 valve lift I/O and 122 lobe sep. With 1.6RR, I would have 0.560 lift. I have the 190 heads with the same setup and 24 pph injectors with a custom eprom. I would talk to AFR because that is what I did. I got it down to 10.8:1 compression and they custom cut that part of the head to make it the right cc. They have a good tech department that if you tell them what you have and what compression you want to run, they wil tell you how many cc you need and they can make it the way you want
