I always get bullied by them on the interstate. It seems as soon as they see RS - it's bully time. They never dare when I'm in the Fourth gen.

 

thier mass produced junk ford escorts with v8,s put a curve in that highway and they wont bully you know more. plus the 3rd gen camaro looks way better even if it only had 2 hp its a much better ride. dude i get bullied by corvettes there the real bullys

 

Interesting, every time I see a 5.0 it's usually in terrible shape doing 20 below the limit. Don't get me wrong though, I do like that body style and one of those in a 5 speed has got to be damn fun. Vettes, I dunno, Vettes seem to only notice other Vettes..lol. Then again if I had a Z-06, I'd probably be the same way...On second thought, I'd probably be wrapped around a tree, yeah that's more like it.

 

Vettes really are the bullies. They leave you alone if you leave them alone though.

You have an RS, thats why, they know. The real 5.0 competitors are the 350 TPI/305 TPI 5-Speed IROC-Z's and Z28's. Especially the G92 cars. Put a real powerfull engine in the RS and give them a big surprise.

 

Every guy in a vette around here is usually 40+ years old going 5 mph under the speed limit. Until one time we were in my buddys 2002 gti and we pulled up behind a z06 at a red light. So my buddy started reving his engine to see what the guy would do. As soon as the light turned green the vette dumped the clutch and went sideways as hell around the left turn and then he took off. We tried keepin up, but there was no chance. I think that was the first time Ive seen a guy acutally having fun with his vette. It was pretty damn cool.

 

I don't even get messed with anymore. And I love beating a bully.

When I had the 305/auto in there, I minded my own business and the most 5.0s picked on me. I had a 5.0 too and could spank all of them with it. But now, I can't get a race.

I have got my revenge a few times though. I have caught a few off guard. At the track and on the street. It feels good in an RS.

The more I learn and the more people I see, I realize that Mustangs aren't all they are cracked up to be. I have two and they run good for what they are but my RS is the top dog in my driveway. Low 12s on street tires is by no means awesome but you can hand a lot of *** to people with that. Hopefully I will be in the high 11s in a couple of months so that should help those pesky Vipers too

Keep in the game and you will get around to hurting some 'stang feelings.
