weld draglites

Hey, I'm looking at possibly trying to get these for my car, but I was wondering would the backspacing and all that good stuff workout right? Here are the rims and the specs:

Well dude, as long as the bolt pattern is 4 3/4 you should be okay, As far as the 8" width goes, stock RS 3rd gen wheels are 15x7" so you may need a spacer or extension, I've been told the spacers are not very good or safe as compared to bolt on extensions, not sure about that though, i know for 9 " wheels you definately do need spacing, but wait for more posts to explain further. The main benefit is the rotational mass weight lost going to drag rims, they can weigh as little as 6 lbs ive seen noted, so those would be at least 1/2 the weight of your stock rims.

in addition:
i talked to my buddy and he said there showuld be no issue with the draglites. the z28s used 16"X8" width rims so you should be fine... wish someone would back me up here, in case im wrong.

There's a typo in the ebay listing. Weld Draglites have a 5 on 4 1/2 and 5 on 4 3/4 bolt spacing. They'll fit ford and small chev bolt patterns. Large chev is 5 on 5. The majority of the GM cars use the small pattern.

I don't see a problem getting those to fit. They're an 8" rim with 4.5" backspace. I use a 10" rim with 5.5" backspace so mine actually sit inwards more. The rims themselves won't be a problem but it will depend on what size tire you want to mount on them.

Those rims sell for about $178 each from Summit or Jegs. Within the USA, they'll probably be free shipping from them also. The price you're bidding on does not include shipping.

You'll also need 3" wheel studs and mag nuts for those rims.
