vortech head question
i know i've gotta get the SA rocker arms. My cam has under .45 lift. can i use stock length pushrods and 1.6:1 ratio rocker arms? or should i just stick with 1.5:1?

i'm guessing that is a .450"lift?? you could use 1.6rr's, they would only put you at .480 about. and you could use the stock springs too if that's all the cam your using. i still have my vortecs for sale!

Sure you can try using the 1.6 ratio rocker arms, but make sure you check valve spring clearance. The retainers will hit the valve guides anywhere from .450" to .480" lift.

well at my local auto zone, the guy i usually deal with revealed that he was building a 327 with all the vortech goodies. so he's going to hook me up with his brand new roller rockers for about 150, edelbrock rpm airgap intake for 200 bucks. all this stuff is still in its box. this engine is gonna be running very soon.
