If I remember correctly, 3rd gen and 4th gen suspension parts are interchangable. Having said that, you may want to check out SLP's SS/Firehawk suspension kits. I think they sell for $6-700. Please correct me if I am wrong, though . . .

The rear suspension links on the 3rd and 4th gen cars are the same. The springs are not. The shocks are very similar, and may be interchangable. The fronts are COMPLETELY different.
If I were you, I'd do what I did (duh)
17" used ZR1 wheels and tires: $600 plus $300 for adapters
1LE sways used (larger and lighter than that kit): $50
KYB shocks/struts: $150
cut stock springs: free
The Biltstein are definately better than the KYB, but unless you autocross or road race - you will never notice the difference. The 1LE sways came with poly bushings and links and I picked those up for only $50. They are much larger 36mm front and 24mm rear. The front is hollow and weighs MUCH less than the one in the kit. Cutting stock springs is only recommended if your factory aren't worn out, otherwise get Eibach's Pro Kit - its a little over $200.
I made all the upgrades within a 2 week period and it is a HUGE difference. It handled well before, but I'm sure its a good bit over 1.0g with the few other suspension mods I have. I work at a Mazda dealer and have put my car up against some modded RX-7s and Miatas and they couldn't keep up going through an entire highway onramp/offramp "clover".
You can then spend the saved $ on a set of Lakewood LCA's and panhard rod, poly bushings for the front LCAs, and a set of subframes.
One other note. Weld in (not bolt in) a set of subframe connectors before any suspension upgrades. It will provide a stable platform and you'll be shocked at the difference.

that's not bad; i have a 1,200 into mine and it's all brand new.
bilstein front and back
kenny brown lca's and adj. phr
SW subframe connectors
1-le swaybars
eibach prokit (modified)
spohn TA
Energy suspension bushings
custom STB
gm wonderbar
i think that covers all the suspension, everything was powdercoated to match as well. car rides like a dream, although that may change with the new wheels.
