two wires to each TBI injector - Help
two wires to each TBI injector - Help
My ports for the TBI fuel lines were stripped and cracked when I went to replace to injectors. I cracked it more putting it back together. So I have a Holley Projection unit sitting here unused. The Injector housing will fit with the holley injectors but the wires connectors are different on the injectors. So, I have to use the holley pig tails on the injectors.
How can I tell what wire is which? The holley wires are all black and then at a connector they turn to orange, red, red, blue. What would match up to the GM wires?
Thanks
Doug

Re: two wires to each TBI injector - Help
The two reds are ignition voltage, and the orange and blue run back to the ECM (injectors are controlled on the ground side.)
I don't know the color codes on the stock TBI injectors, but two of the wires (one for each injector) will be the same color. These are the ignition voltage wires. You'll need a wiring diagram or someone more familiar with TBI to tell you the rest.

Thanks for the help. I did find a housing to use. But I still used the top part with the fuel regulator on it.
What is the trick to changing the regulator diaphram?
