You're saying "at last" like someone actually decided to mass produce a kit.

ah don't get to discouraged...you can find old tech articles in the 80's about turbo kits. as long as the gn has been around people have been using the parts to up the ante. just doesn't happen much because of the fabrication needed. they are out there though and plenty strong however most aren't show worthy enough to be printed in magazines which is ashame.

This other picture looks definetly good. Apparently this guy or company is mass producing them, his got complete, partial and headers only for sale at eBay. I dont know, but I am considering it...

Don't forget that if you want to turbo it, you would need an intercooler. Just to give you an idea, I had a 2.3L Turbocoupe engine in my XR4Ti and after a WOT run at night, you could see the ported exhaust manifold and the exhaust side of the turbo glow like a light bulb in the night.

How much boost you where running? I understand that if you are running under 9 psi of boost is not necessary to have an intercooler. I have friends of mine running blowers and turbos at 5-7 psi without intercoolers and they dont seem to have that kind of problem. My neighbors Nissan(Datsun) 300ZX dosent come with an intercooler from the fabric, and that guy puts in his car 18 psi of boost!! Is it really necessary an intercooler for 7-9 psi boost? I just want to go forced induction, but blowers are too expensive and turbos even look more exotic. This kit seems like a good bargain to me, that's just my opinion, I would appreciate some advice.

It was a T3/T4 Garret and I was boosting over 15#. I had a check valve that let the turbo spool up like crazy and suddenly backed it off when it reached the 15 psi mark. Later I reset it to 20 psi once I had better injectors.

BTW, in the Merkur XR4Ti with the 2.3L turbo, automatics get 10 psi boost and manuals get 15 psi. This was to protect the tranny. I kept breaking trannys so I got to change it from a C3 to a C4.

When I saw the exhaust manifold glow red I knew the pipes would be hot. Yet I could touch the pipe going to the TB after the intercooler was installed. It was a fabbed one with a Spearco core.
