Trunk leak ??

Question Trunk leak ??

I have a 1991 z28, and for some reason that i cant figure out, theres a leak into the trunk, the water settles in the trunk every time it rains, and i cant find the leak, anyone know?

Obviously it has to be the hatch. Make sure the weather stripping makes good contact with the hatch glass, and that there is no spacing. Also the metal piece with the spoiler might be seaping some water in.

make sure the back part of the hatch is aligned properly. i had this problem, and did not know what was going on. usually from someone replacing the glass and not lining it up right.

is the hatch pull down motor working right? you can also adjust it so it will pull the hatch down a little tighter. look for the 3 bolts where the motor is mounted to the body. lossen is and drop it down just a little, Don't drop it too low due to it may damage the motor.
