True Dual exhaust

I own a 1989 IROC Z28 and I gotta believe somebody figured out how to fit a TRUE dual exhaust, headers back? Has anyone attempted / accomplished this?

my 1989 firebird formula has true duals on it 2.5" pipe out both sides right in front of the rear tires, only cost me $290 - But you will have to use some type of bullet mufflers due to the space. Other than that you can have them run it over the axle on one side like they say.

On my 82'.....

Ive got true duals on my 82. Bought em off of ebay, but they came from Summit. A friend of mine with a lift, torch and welder installed them. They turned out to be a HUGE P.I.T.A., and took this guy 4 days to install. (He was a professional exhaust guy). It sounds great and added GOBS of power to the car, but Id advise you to stay away from the Summit kit unless you have full access to a shop, lift, welder and torches (to rebend tubes).

Oh, and the supplied mufflers didnt work. I had to substitute a set of glasspacks. But holychit does it sound good.............
