transmission problems

my tranny is shot. Will a t5 tranny for a camaro bolt on to an 86 z28.

It depends if your car is a V-6 or a V-8.....if a V8 then yes it will but if it's a V6 then you'll have to get some other parts.

yea its a v8. It has a 305 in it right now. I found 2 trannys online. One was for the same year of my car and its 150 and i found a t5 transmission for the same price. Both are in excellent condition.

the t5 will require more parts such as a clutch pedal, master cyl, new console, etc. it will be worth the extra $ in the long run though
