Tranny shifting finiky

My 700r4 with a stage 2 shift kit, corvette servo kit, 2200 stall, tranny cooler and kick down kit. Will NOT shift before it hits 4000rpms and when shifted to drive from park will launch and chirp the tires. If i let off the gas to let it kick down to 2nd it won't, it will hold the gear untill it gets 4000rpms for all gears and it jerks the car along with squawking the tires. I checked all the linkage, and lines, no leaks and no play. I do however feel there is a little bit of a slushy feel when going through some gears but not all. It sometimes won't engage Park and will "trip over" the park prawl and roll while clicking the prawl. If I jam it and such after it "trips" it will go into park. I have a slight leak from the hose clamp on the tranny cooler line, tightened it and topped up the tranny. Not alot better. The speedo cable broke recently and I removed the it and have not yet reinstalled it yet but have had it out before when it has broke a few other times as well and it did nothing except set off the VSS code which I know is normal when its not getting its signal.
I am very concerned about this prob and have taken it to a fresh set of eyes (a mechanic) and he is not sure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If u need more info let me know. Oh and my shifter is a B&M ratchet megashifter.

The shift cable is not adjusted properly if the trans isn't going into park properly.

The shifting concerns are caused by either your "stage 2 shift kit" or your "kickdown kit". Since neither are factory pieces, I can't help much. It would help to know what these mystery parts are...

If the shift kit is anything but TransGo's kit, its trash.

All my parts are from B&M.

I checked all of the linkage and such, but isn't the proper one from the shifter on the top of the tranny?

b&m shiftkits are trash... garbage... vile waste... you need to go transgo so you dont have that problem again. spend the extra money on a good shift kit rather than going with a cheap one

Ya, in my 87 350, I had a stage 2 trans go, and I loved it,
for the 50 bucks or so, I think I'll get another one after I figure this tranny prob out.

But I have to wait till it comes back from the paint shop this week.

I wish you luck in ridding yourself of the B&M kit. The damage may be irreversible though. Usually they have you drill out passages in the valve body and remove check *****. You may not be able to return the trans to original condition to install the TransGo. So installing the TransGo kit after the fact may not solve the problem

Regardless, the shifter cable still needs to be adjusted for the shift system to operate correctly - remember, adjust in neutral.
