i no u can change the t56 tranny from 94-99 camaros with the 3rd gen but can this be done from a 94 v6 tranny to a 89 rs v8? TIA

 

do you mean the t-5 or the auto? I think the t-5 may bolt in place, but like the 3rd gen t-5's, they would be weaker then the v8 tranny even if they could be physically bolted in and operational. the 3.4's in the 94 yhad a unique bolt pattern that would not let you bolt the v6 auto tranny to the back of any v8.

sorry, ya i meant the auto tranny from a 94 v6 to an auto 89 v8 . . . so ur saying it could be possible but might have a diff bolt pattern right?

 

it won't fit. The 94 V6 is a 60* v6, which uses a totally different bolt pattern for the bellhousing.
