Alright, I have an '83 RX-7 that I am converting to chevy power, and to do this I am getting a 305 from an '86 Caprice tomorrow afternoon. My question is: what manual transmissions will bolt right up to this motor? The junkyard I am getting the motor from only has a 4-spd and I really want a 5-spd. Thanks in advance for the help.

 

A mid. to late 80's camaro or firebird tranny should work.. If i was going to put a chevy small block in a RX-7, I'd use a 350.. That's too much trouble to only use a 305..
