Traction Problems
I have an 88 RS with a moderately built 350, around 400 hp, and a 700R4 with a shift kit. Now when I punch the gas it spins off the line, and it almost goes sideways going into 2nd and 3rd gear. I'm sure if i had more traction I could get much better track times. The tires on it now are stock, so I'm asking if there's anything i can do to increase traction. Maybe offset rims w/ wider tires? This is a street car too so i don't want to run slicks. Any suggestions appreciated.
Your looking at spending a lot of cash...
Adjustable torque arm, LCA's, lower the car, LCA relocation brackets, and Adjustable panhard rod.
You'll also need a good set of sticky tires. I'm using Micheline pilots and they are great. Way better than my previous BFG's.
