tpi swap help

tpi swap help

i have a friend that swapped an 88 tpi from a vette into 84 z28the motor will run when primed!!! injectors wont fire what will keep them from opening ??? what wire makes them hot as far as i can tell there is no fire to the inj!! computer and wiring harness came as a hole unit from the fire wall out just bolted the harness into the camaro spot is there another hot wire that needs to be connected separtly or what any help is always greatly appreciated!!!

Check the grounds on the harness there should be 2 or 3 on the back of each head and one fron the right head to the firewall to complete the circuit. I believe the injectors have a constant hot and trigger by getting grounded.

did you change the fuel pump? a pump from a carb will not have enough psi for the tpi

88 in a vette might have had VATS?

I know 89 camaros had it

The computer provides the ground for the injectors to fire. Sounds like a ground prob. to me or the fuel pump isnt working.
