Since I've decided I'm building a 406 TPI what year engine do I need to buy for the intake, sensors, computer etc? If someone could give me some details of which year to get and why it would be a lot of help.

Need more info, street, and or strip?
Oem, or aftermarket fuel/timing control?

 

It's going in a rock crawler and on pump gas. I'm puting aftermarket heads on it. I'm not up on the diffrences of TPI's 86-92 so I need to know which year-years do I need to use.

91-92 is speed density. Previous years are Mass Air Flow.
