TPI porting
Re: TPI porting
yea, just port out the upper plenum to the same size of the holes for your new runners...remember your only gonna flow as much air as your weakest link...so if you got a bottle neck in the intake somewhere, it doesn't matter how much you port out the rest, it'll only flow as good as the bottleneck will..
Re: TPI porting
Vader on Thirdgen.org posted a very nice thread on porting out the TPI setup a while ago. Very detailed and everything. When I find it I will post a link.
Honestly though, if you search www.thirdgen.org for porting tips on a TPI setup you will get tons of results.
Here are some articles to read.

Re: TPI porting
The plenum has alot of stuff inside of it that can be removed, mainly the floor area just behind the twin holes in front. if you do a 58 or 52mm TB, those holes also need to be enlarged to match. Matching the runners also is almost necessary with the SLP runners since they're siamesed. Look up Dan Burke's(ws6transam) homepage for pics on port work or other links on Thirdgen.org . Goodluck!

Toy won't see full gains from an intake upgrade until the exhaust is free flowing. Allen
