im thinking about backing the comp down a bit by going with a .40 gasket instead of the .20 that i have now. this will make it a lil better on tuning. its pretty good now but can use a few more tweeks.

I can't remember the specs of my old cam in my 305, but it was the Crane Cams Powermax 2050. It was either a 110 or 112LSA.
I was running a Stock Prom with VATS turned off.
Here is a vid of it at idle and driving down the street.

i have a 93 lt1 in my car with a large cam with a 108lsa it drives just fine for me. i had a tune done by ion at madz28.com. it is speed density, no maf so don't think you can't run a tight lsa just because you have fuel injection.

Yeah, small cams are the way to go for performance, and carbs are for idiots. Oh wait, you're from CA
See my adjustment right above your post. I think I've done quite well with my TPI system. Others in our SoCal club have gone low 12's. But I cant drive so I'm stuck in the high 12's. Either way, my car passes CA smog easily (so do the other 12 second cars in our club); something you cant say about your cars.
CA doesnt suck, its just the liberal pussies in Los Angeles and San Francisco that ruin it for the rest of us.

I almost had a comeback for this but I realized it was blatantly off-topic and quite possibly a thread hijack.
