TPI From LB9 on a L03

I know a TPI off of a 305 LB9 will fit on a 305 LO3. What I need to know is how it will profrom? The LO3 with the TBI has 170hp. And the LB9 305tpi in my 89 iroc-z is 195hp. The C.R. on both are 9.3:1 Would the HP be 195 are closer to 170? If you know anyone that has done this or if you have any info please help. Thanks

I installed the TPI intake and computer on my 92 RS 5-speed, with no other changes. It made 17 HP and 70 TQ more at the wheels. It went from 158 HP to 175 HP, and 220 TQ to 290 TQ. I later installed a TPI cam and it went up to 187 HP at the same 290 TQ.
Remember you have to change the computer and wiring harness, too.

Uhm... if you're pulling out the engine, why put back in a 305?
