Post LS1, LS6 swap into a 3rd gen..

i've seen these crate motors being sold now with computers and everything ready to go, how hard would it be to swap one of these, what would be required? obviously a tranny swap would be instore but as for the motor itself, how much work do u think?

This is a little more geared toward 3rd Gen Tech and you should get a few more responses there. I'll get it over there...

go for it if you have the cash to burn......personally i think you could do alot better building a small block as well as save yourself alot of money. going for the ooh ahh factor has been over done so it wouldn't be anything new. not to mention the ls1 block looks so tiny in a thirdgen it could easily be mistaken for a small 4 cylinder.

the only way i would do it would be if i ran across a terrific deal.
