TPI to Carb swap?

I have a 97 Vortec 350 I'm putting into a 89 Firebird. I'm having problems getting the computer reprogramed to work with this. My question is, how much HP will I lose if I swap out the TPI for a carb?

If properly tuned peak hp should be the same. Things that will change are gas mileage, drivability, and hp/tq curves.
