tpi/ to blower carb?
i want to switch from the tpi settup i have and go with a blower carb instead, does an 1982 z28 have a smog pump, and do you act. need , in 1982 did they have a carb'd motor. i'm trying to see what i can stick in my car and pass emmisions
Contact Holley. They have versions of their Weiand/Holley 144 roots-style blower that are emissions legal. You will need at least a 4" cowl hood to fit it under. It will work with the stock compter-controlled QJet carb and distributor and ECM of that year.

also why not just run a centrifugal setup on your tpi? it will be a LOT easier to install, might be a bit cheaper, make the same or better hp and might get a tick or 2 better mpg.
i have an 87' but i can get an 82' the truth is i took the tpi apart and now i'm lost on how i'm gonna get it back togother also it's very expensive to do some real **** to these cars.
runners $400
