Too cold a spark plug?

Is there such a thing as "too" cold a spark plug?

Right now I've come to the conclusion the reason my car is stalling after long idle periods is the plugs are getting heat soaked. I'm just going to go buy R42LTS plugs as someone said they ran them on their Vortec 350.

Sure there is. You might notice a little more fouling.

I am running the R42LTS without any problems with fouling of the plug. With the T56, I run down the interstate at 1500 rpms for extended periods of time, again with no fouling of the blocks

Fouling means they get carboned up, to the point where they can't produce a effective spark.

Hope its worth the effort
