Question Tire Question

Hey whats going on everyone ?
I have a 91 camaro with stock 15 inch wheels. I am forced to keep them for now due to lack of funds. Does anyone know the tire size for stock 15's // or what is the best size >? also what tire is the best all round for performance .. i was thinking the dunlop sport 8000 ??? thanks as always

Thanks for the site... So is the size I should get 245/50/15 ?? And should i go with dunlop sport 8000's ?? thanks for the help ... going to go buy soon

Easiest way to answer this is with more questions:

a) you said you dont have funds now to swap out the 15's for something else, but will you within the next year or two?

if yes, get some inexpensive tires of whatever size will work to get you by.

if no, then worry about size and performance issues.

I say this because I have seem SO MANY people that put new tires on just to sell them (or try to) 500-1000 miles later and take a loss.

I'd say get 245's (I'm happy with my 245/16 Kumhos that I bought last year)... decent wear and good price.

Well I'm rolling w/ 16s but I've been nothing but pleased with my Yoko tires - S06s. They redesigned them from a previous tire model last year (?) and there are noticably different. I swapped from Dunlop to Yoko three tire sets ago - I find them to be far superior than Dunlop.

Anyway work great on dry, wet, and are pretty good on snow...
