i ran into a little problem.
i have an 8 inch balancer now and the original or even aftermarket timing cover for a 350 will not fit.
Q-- will a 400 t cover bolt on to my 350.or what have you guys done
ps i am keeping the 8 inch balancer for now.

In what way won't it fit? I used a 8" balancer on my 377 and used an aftermarket cover, problem is I don't remember what brand it was. It's aluminum and doesn't have a pointer installed on it, the pointer actually bolts on to the timing cover bolts. I mean it uses them. You know.
Anyway, where is it hitting at?

The generic chrome Mr Gasket timing cover has a non-welded timing pointer and will fit with the 8" balancer just fine. You can find them at any hot-rod shop or from www.summitracing.com or www.jegs.com
