Ticking noise in front end
Noticed something the other day when I was pulling into my driveway. There seems to be a ticking noise coming from the front end when i turn the wheel. So I took it back out and sure enough, it ticks all the time when the wheel is turned and the car is in motion. It ticks faster when the car is traveling faster...what is it? The power steering seems to work fine, it never fails or stiffens. Is it just something rubbing, or is the early signs of front-end work?

Probably a wheel bearing. Jack the front up and take off the wheels. Check to see if the rotor/hubs have any in-and-out play in them. If so you need bearings. They're cheap and not difficult to replace....I'd probably do them just on principle if I didn't know how old they were.

It probably is wheel bearing as J said, but another thing to look at is the brake pads. Sometimes they get loose and will cause a tick as the wheel turns (they will grab and ride up then slip down making a ticking sound) ,look for a slightly warped rotor and listen as you spin the wheels. Just another place to look.
