If you have to pass emissions, buy a Superram intake. If not, it would be cheaper to get the Holley Stealth Ram. While your intake is out, you could see getting roller rockers (Crane Gold) and if you have the money, a cam. If not, just do the intakes and clean up the heads a little.

I was looking at the holley steath ram, and its like 2500 bucks...http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...19&prmenbr=361 its the super ram intake....but i don't have to pass emision tests, its just the only intake I found for the TPI. http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...35&prmenbr=361 Are these the kind of heads you guys are talking about? Do they sell that book at book stores or anything? Or do I really have to order it off jegs?

I think Jegs is the best source for that book or another mail order company. I've never seen it at Barnes and Noble or any of those.

Give him the ISBN # and he can order the book at any book store.

The first one is the Suerram not the HSR. HSR is about 700 bucks but that does not include the ECM and other stuff you don't need. You could use those heads or maybe AFR 195 and up heads.

I just looked at what WTF just order...I think it was the vortech heads and headers etc...then the runners that he ordered...that looks like a nice kit...what do you guys think? Something like that would probably be easier for me to figure out when installing it..

I just looked, there is no number on this book. It is a limited production book from a small company, and is not "mainstream", or apparently not.

Sorry.

Where can you find the HSR for 700 bucks?

Thats all I need? Just the things on that list? Because I don't want to order it in a few months, then get it, then end up buying a bunch of other stuff, and it will end up costing me a bunch more...It says on the manifold for 86 and earlier applications...Is this the only applications it works on or will it work on a a 90 engine?

I am not sure about the HSR because I don't own one yet. However, what I do know is that the bolt holes in the center are different between 90 and early ones. All you have to do is have the center holes elongated so it will work. My Accel ones come already elongated so that is fine.
