Did you guys have any fitment problems? How was the install. I am thinking of getting one on ebay since they are getting cheap.

 

Wouldn't know. Mine came from the factory with it.

 

I was just about to ask about this. Im just wondering if any of the holes from my stock Z28 spoiler will match with this one. Seems like ill have to drill some holes reguardless.

 

If you have the usual stock spoiler with the third gens and you want to buy a high rise, you are going to have a problem. The problem is not the actual spoiler fitting on top of the back deck lid, the problem is the quarter pannels......

When you take off the stock third gen spoiler (the one with 3 peices) two of the pieces extend on to the quarter pannels. When you take those off, you are left with a hole in the quarter pannel that needs to be filled. After its filled, usually the whole quarterpannel needs to be painted.

Also, there is usually an eyesore of an outline from the pieces that extend down into the quarter pannel. The quarter pannel is usually faded and scratched, so you are going to have to do some extra painting anyway.

I agree that the spoilers look bad ***, and I am going to get one soon myself, but keep that in mind before you go putting any money down.

Agreed, lucky for me though, my car is painted flat white and is an eye sore in whole after i manage to find a Z28 front bumper and gfx she is gettin painted.
