'Saay fellow F-body FREAKS!! I'm looking for a good A/C bracket for an LT1 swap in a 3RD gen. I need one that'll support ALL accessories INCLUDING the smog pump. I saw one but it was for "off-road" use. THat sucks because every inspection station in three counties here in NC checks for smog-controls, all of 'em (no, I MEAN that - there's no escaping the long arm of the law here in Mayberry). If you're smoking a cigar when you pull into the garage they'll fail it. Y'all know about the misfitting A/C compressor incompatibility of dropping a LT1 in a 3RD gen Camaro. Aside from grinding at the frame (not me) I either delete the A/C (again, not me) or mount it elsewhere. PLEASE help me out here. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you can use a Vette setup if you do not want to notch your crossmember.

Yes, the Vette setup is the best one to use, but is costly if you buy new. Street and Performance sells the entire setup for about $900.
We used that setup on my friends LT1 swap into his 82 Trans Am,
you can browse the pics here,
