i am thinking of replacing my TH700R4 with a TH400 but i am wondering how hard it is to switch crossmembers??

 

I was thinking about doing this as well because I have a grudge with my TV cable and I heard TH350s have them too. What all has to be done? Doesnt it require a different drive shaft because of the larger yoke. And I read that you cant use log tube headers with them either because of a big casing.

 

I used the Hurst swap kit from Jegs. Then had an old Chevelle drive shaft cut and balanced. No problems althought the torque arm bracket did require a little grinding.
