Temp sensor ???

Temp sensor ???

Could a faulty temp. sensor cause overheating issues? On a 91 350 TPI where would this be located???

No, its a sensor. You have other cooling problems. You have two Temp Sensors:
1) located in driver side head for engine Temp for the Gage.
2) located by the thottle body for coolant Temp (CTS) for the ECM.
