temp gauge 86 z28

temp gauge 86 z28

hi guys thanks for the advice,the temp gauge in my dash has all of a sudden been either going all the way up or all the way down.not over heating car seems fine.is this something that is worth fixing or should i live with it?

no the coolant is new and full

well, have you verified if the temperature is actually changing?

It sounded like you said it overheated. If it did, and you filled it up, there might be air pockets in there, causing the erratic temp guage. You may have to burp the system by letting it run without the rad cap on until the t-stat opens
