is that red thing behind the trunk button on the center console a light telling me that the trunk is open? cuz if it is then mines not working. can i fix it?

 

If that's what it is then it's an incredibly rare option that I've never seen or heard of. In other words....not likely.

Pull up the console plate and trace the wires to find out what it's for.....that's the best advice I can give.

 

The light may have been installed as part of a aftermarket Alarm System. No such light option for hatch being open.
