The extremely long small diameter runners is what kills hp above 5000 rpm in a stock TPI system.

it is the runner design, i dont see how being batch fire affects your hp and torque, as long as u dont run rich or lean it doesnt really matter all that much if u ask me.

TPI's definately are torque monsters, 392 ft lbs of rw tq should be proof enough, only change to internal engine was bored to 355 and 10:1 compression pistons.

I've seen stealth ram's peak at 6200rpm with "batch fire" fuel injection, so I wouldnt say that its that much of a sacrifice to upper RPM's.

I love when a new member comes in and starts printing straight out of an article

I think I read his exact words in the old Formula Dealership booklet on www.thirdgen.org

Of course he might have been thinking about the cross fire injection also
