Lightbulb TBI->4bbl

Hi , recently i swapped my V6 to V8 TBI, and I'm having a real ****ing hard time getting all the codes cleared (the wiring harness is a total mess)... I'm out of patience, and i wanna know what i need to change from TBI to 4bbl carb.

I know i need a new distributor, intake, and a carb. I'm not to sure about the distributor, what kind do i need so it works with a simple carb?
here are the possible options on summit:
# Mechanical,
# Vacuum and mechanical,
# Vacuum,
# Electronic,
# Electronic and vacuum,
which one is it?

thx for the info, i'm really pissed my car is out of order for the past 2 months thx to fuel injection

Re: TBI->4bbl

My old set-up:
I used accel dist #9107 (I think) w/ vacuum adv. Its cheap, easy to get, comes with cap/rotor/spring kit.

Fuel pressure regulator (mallory #4309)

For intake- rpm air-gap
For carb- 600cfm (assuming 305)

You should be able to find all info with "search" button

^That about sums it up. As long as you dont go computer-controlled you wont have a problem. No wires is teh
Eddie 600 Performer, Accel distributor (vacuum advance), and either a RPM Airgap intake (for topend power) or a Performer intake (for torque).

Ok thx for all the info, it's all i needed
I'm gonna go for TQ about the carb i'll probably be getting a 500cfm, even if it starves the engine in the top end, i really care about gas mileage

Re: TBI->4bbl

i'd say this is even a better deal on the distributor, it already has a mounted coil.

Re: TBI->4bbl

A 500cfm is a VERY bad choice. That flows less than a stock Q-Jet unit. Your not only going to get sh*tty gas mileage, your gonna have ZERO performance unless you go with a 600cfm+..
