do they make a brighter bulb than the standard 2057's for the rear tail lights?

i need some...that fit in the stock housings.

reason being is that i tinted my rear tail light so i need a brighter bulb.

I would just go/call a couple of parts stores and see what they have to offer.

Also I was considering doing the tint thing to my rear tail lights does it really make it harder to see the lights?

 

i havent gotten them back yet..they are being shipped back right now.....i was going to do the VHT myself but i let someone professionally do it with their own black candy mix and cleared them. So when i get them back i'll post up a picture. He does say they look like black glass. SO we'll see.

My car is white with clear front side markers and 5% tint on the windows so I wanted the rear tails to be black too . gives it that black/white look and seeing the tails had red/clear/yellow i just figure it will look better cause their is nothing on my car with those colors.

but yeah, i just wanted to get some brighter bulbs just to make sure.

 

I've used hyyper white bulbs off of ebay, you'll want to make sure the bulb glass is colored, not just painted, they tend to flake off and lose some brilliance. but ebay is a good source. also might look into led replacements. I soldered some led's into the spoiler mounted third brake light and have been very happy with that result.
