you mean u converted to a carburetor? or have a carb? It should still work the same, I heard people putting them in all 3rd gen cars 82-92, i thyink 85 and not all of them had computers.

the motor in the car now is a v6 and when i convert it over to the other motor it will be carbed.

I've had my T-56 behind a non-CC engine for 3 years. It isn't a problem.
