T5 VSS doesn't want to go into T56...

The plugs are totally different. Maybe I'm just looking at it wrong. Did anyone on here have trouble regarding the VSS plug? When I say plug, I mean the piece coming off of the wires and into the tranny. Thanks

I think you have to buy the pigtail from either GM or pepboys.

I know I had too.

You can use the back up light switch plug though, but you have to lengthen the wires so it reaches the other side of the tranny

That's what I was afraid of. Pigtail connector thing off of a 4th gen right? The dealer wants $27.11 for it

We got the reverse lights extended/hooked up. Oh well, I'll go check gmpartsdirect.com Thanks man

I paid $36 for mine, but that included overnight delivery.

Check with Pepboys, as they are selling factory pigtails for like $5

Thats how much I paid when I switched mine over to a heated O2 and wanted the factory style weather pack connector.

Do you know the PN? The dealer told me GM-1530-6195 but I'm not totally sure he knew what I was talking about. Oh yeah, www.gmpartsdirect.com wants $12.55 for it.
