A friend of mine has a 89 camaro rs he has an lt1 built for it and he has driven a 4th gen and he like the six speed better than his five can it be done and if so how

ive done it, the OEM t56 bolts right in with a hydraulics change and speedometer hookup.

I just started this project today....dropping the tremec anyway. I cant wait to be rowing 6 gears through a centerforce dual friction. Its well worth the money for the t56.

I've done it...

Used a Spohn cross member with his TQ arm. From what I've seen and heard it's a higher quality piece than the SPD one. I like what I've got.
