Post subframe connectors

Has anyone had weld in subframe connectors put in their cars....if so how hard was it, and how exactly is the floor pan modified? I can't find anyone to do it for me, and I am sure I will need them, so I might have to try myself.

From what I heard from Alston, it is simple. I am going down there to get them to first bolt it in and then weld it in. No cutting required.

I have Global West SFC and you don't have to do anything with the floorpan.

I had Kenny Brown's on the 96 and they didn't need floorpan modifications either.

Were these the bolt in or weld in style. Also I'm in a 3rd gen. They say the bolt in's don't need modifications but arn't as good. I'm not for sure, but I can't find anyone to modify the floorpan to put the weld in's in anyways

I had Global west and kept having my exhaust hitting it. From what I saw of Alston's unit, it doesn't matter because it does not run into that region where the exhaust runs along the length of the SFC. Will let you know this Fri

Exclamation

South Side Machine sells a sweet subframe setup. It's fit on 2 of my IROCs with no clearance problems or exhaust problems. JEgs sells them for $150+ shipping i think...goodluck
